Senior Youth Retreat

I hope you're getting excited for the week ahead... I AM! :) It's going to be an awesome week filled with some epic games, Cageball, Archery and plenty of other great stuff!

A few things that will be important to know. Make sure that you're at the church for 5:45 on Friday night, having eaten something. We'll have snack later on that night, but you'll definitely want to eat something before you come.

Don't forget your sleeping bag, pillow, toiletries, a pen and paper, your Bible, and any board games you might want! We'll have plenty of food and candy up at camp, so you don't need to bring that with you, and you can't have it in the cabins with you anyways (squirrels!). Also, remember not to bring your ipods/iphones, or cell phones. You CAN (and should!) bring your camera's to remember the weekend.

There is no cell service at the camp, so if there is an emergency, call the camp directly to get ahold of me. We will be back at the church for 2 PM on Sunday afternoon. Once the bus has been unloaded and everything put away, we can all head home! :)

See you on Friday!

Four Square

We're schedule to have a Night Games youth night tomorrow... but the church is being drilled, cut into, and rearranged! So rather than running around like crazy people (which we do anyways), we're going to have an EPIC four square tournament! There will be multiple courts, and plenty of fun to go around.

Bring your A game tomorrow night at 6:30 PM!

Junior Youth Retreat

Hello Parents and Youth :)

Sorry this post is coming so late... it's been a crazy week. Hopefully it will be an even crazier weekend! :)

A few details for this weekend which will be helpful for you! Please be at the church for 5:45 PM tomorrow evening. The bus will be leaving shortly after 6 PM, so be there as early as possible to sign in and get organized.

You need to bring a few things with you. Here's a quick (although not extensive) list:

Sleeping Bag or Sheets and Pillow
Bible
Toiletries
Pen/Paper
Clothes for the two days, as well as an extra change
Night clothes
Shoes for all types of weather (we will be outside doing running around)
Towel/Shampoo
Camera

Do not bring:

iPod
Cell phones (doesn't work at Squeah anyways)
Other electronic devices (camera excluded)

We will be back at the church for 1:45 PM on Sunday afternoon. Parents, please be there no later than 2 PM.

Because of the cell phone coverage at Squeah, my regular phone number will not work in case of emergency. You can reach the camp directly at 604-869-5353.

Looking forward to a great weekend!

Small Groups!

Hi Everyone!

Tomorrow night, 6:30 PM! Be at the church for our second month of Small Groups! If you aren't in one, don't let that stop you from coming, come on out and we'll find the right place for you! :)

This month, we're talking about how do we know God's will? How do we know what He's saying to us? A hard question... but a good one to ask!

See you tomorrow night,

Stephen

Berlin Missions Trip Forms

Hi Everyone!

Following our meeting last night, below you will find the two documents you'll need if you are thinking about coming to Berlin in March.

The first document is the full application. It is meant to be printed double sided, so there are some blank pages in it.

The second document is just the reference forms. If you have someone who is not local, or who you don't see regularly who will be a reference, you can send them that link, and have them send it into me directly!

A reminder to have all forms in my box or e-mailed to me by October 16th, next Sunday.

As always, if you have any questions, feel free to give me a call or send me an e-mail.

Corn Maze

It's October! Harvest is almost over, and the fall is upon us... but that doesn't need to spoil our mood! Tomorrow night we're heading out to the Corn Maze for an awesome evening of getting lost, getting found, and having a blast together!

Beyond the Corn Maze, we'll have smores, snacks, and plenty of fun! But make sure that you bring weather-appropriate gear. It's looking like it's supposed to rain tomorrow morning and afternoon, but clear up by tomorrow night, so make sure you bring shoes/boots that can handle the mud! A flashlight might not be a bad idea either! :)

We'll meet at the church at 6:30, and the bus will be leaving at 6:45, so don't be late! For parents, we're planning on being back at the church for 10 PM. Unfortunately, there will be no on-site pickups. Drop off and pick-up will be at the church.

The cost for the event is $10, that will get you in and all the snacks for the evening.

See you tomorrow at 6:30!
