Playground Games
Oh... the weather outside is frightful! But if tomorrow night it's nice... we're going to head outside to a local playground for games! Bring some running shoes and weather appropriate gear. If it's raining and gross, we'll stay at the church and play some classic games in here!
It's going to be a blast! See you tomorrow at 6:30!
Progressive Dinner
Do you love to eat? Do you love to explore new culinary options? Do you love tuna surprise? (Surprise, it's not tuna!)
Then you're going to love the progressive dinner! We're making 5 stops around Abbotsford for various courses of the dinner. The bus will be getting it's full workout, and you'll have to workout by the time you're done! You can look forward to soup, salad and buns, appetizers, the entree and finally... dessert!
Be at the church for 6 PM, because the bus will be leaving at 6:15, and come hungry! See you tomorrow!
Caaastle Fun Park!
I have always had fun at amusement parks. I guess that makes perfect sense when you think about it... but sometimes it does not. Sometimes, they just aren't that much fun.
It was last year when I was thinking about this little conundrum when I came to a conclusion... it wasn't so much about the amusement part of the park, so much as who I was there with. It was the people and their energy that made it more fun.
Tomorrow night, we're going to Castle Fun Park! The cost is $15 and we're going from 6:30-9PM. The bus is leaving promptly at 6:45, so don't be late, or... if you're going to meet us there, let me know so I can have everything ready for you!

Small Groups
Real conversations happen between friends. They happen between two, three, maybe four. It takes time, trust, and consistency.
Tomorrow night we're beginning a new chapter at Bakerview! We're starting small groups with our different age groups. Girls will be at various homes around Abbotsford, and boys will be here at the church for some sports, and then some discussion.
If you didn't get the e-mail and you're wondering what's all happening, give me a call at the church or send me an e-mail and I'll fill you in! 
Things get started at 7PM and wrap up at 10 PM again this week. Next week it's back to 6:30-9:30.

Crayola Creations
Do you like to colour? Do you like to colour outside the lines? Build things from your imagination?
Come out Thursday night for your chance to share your creations with everyone!
We're colouring our way to a fun youth night! Crayons and paper will be supplied, but you need to bring your own creativity! Guaranteed to be a good laugh, and the most fun you've had since kindergarten!

Foundations: Stories
A rainy day in Abbotsford! Time to gather up around the couches and share some stories from this past year.
Starting at 6:30 tonight, we're going to be gathering at the church and telling stories about what God has done in our lives. Come hear from each of the leaders, and share from your own life too!

Foundations: Sex
S.E.X. A scary word sometimes. Something we don't like to talk about openly, lest someone get embarrassed.
However, we've never been bashful at Bakerview. Tomorrow night we're going to blow the doors off of the topic and have some frank, real discussions about what sex is. Is it bad? Is it right? Is it good? What does the Bible have to say about it?
So come ready to do some blushing and get over the taboo's to have some really good discussion on the topic! See you tomorrow at 6:30!
Ice Blocking!
Have you ever ridden a block of ice down a hill? Does that sound absolutely insane to you?
Then I've got an event for you! Tonight, at 6:30, we're meeting at the church to do just this thing. We're going to head over to Rotary and ride blocks of ice down the hill and high speeds and have a fun time laughing about it!
