The Great Combined Games Night
People should never look down on you because you're young. That's a fact. But what happens when it's Junior vs Senior? Who's really better at Mad Gab? Who's the best at Mission impossible? Four corner soccer?
There's only one way to settle this! A MASSIVE GAMES NIGHT.
This Thursday (not Wednesday for all you juniors!), we're having our final combined youth night of Spring Break. Be at the church for 6:30, and bring some running shoes, things are going to get CRAZY!
SHINE
Just a reminder that SHINE registrations are due this week. SHINE is a retreat up at Camp Stillwood, where you're guaranteed a great time with friends and plenty of fun activities. They allow us full run of their camp, so the climbing wall, gym, hot tub, dirt boarding and more are all available!
The cost for the weekend is $115, and that gets you 5 meals, 2 snacks, a t-shirt and access to the whole camp. There will be a speaker that will challenge your faith, plenty of time to spend with your friends, and laughter! If money is one of the deciding factors, give me a call and we can talk about options. I don't want money to be the reason someone cannot come.
I'm sending in the registration form on Thursday, so I hope to hear from you before then. From past experience, they take registrations until the camp is full up, so you may be able to get in after, but there are no guarantees! If you have lost or didn't get a registration form, you can grab one here.
Let me know if you have any questions
Movie Night!
Spring Break is underway for most of you! You're likely bored, tired, and wishing you were going back to school.... KIDDING!
Tomorrow night, WEDNESDAY, we're having a movie night here in the youth room! We'll be watching a classic movie... and I'm open to suggestions. I'll be bringing a few of my own for us to watch, but if you've got a suggestion, fire me an e-mail and we'll talk! We'll vote on the movie before we watch it tomorrow, and then the popcorn and excitement begins!
Be there for 6:30, because the movie is starting shortly thereafter!
Spring Break Events
Spring break is nearly upon us, and I know many of you will be travelling near and far with your families. It's a good time to get away and spend time with your family. Some of you will be staying around Abbotsford, however, and so I have a few events planned for the afternoons of the 21-24th!
All events are sign-up only. We'll be taking the Van to each of the events, unless there is a 8+ waiting list, then I'll open it up to more and we'll take the bus. To sign up, you follow the link, and you can enter in your e-mail address, and your name should come up. It will then e-mail you a unique code which you enter, and you'll be registered! If you have any issues, give me a call and I'll take a look at it. It probably means I have a different e-mail for you.

The Great Make!
Some of my fondest memories growing up involved building towers of out strange things. Whether that be lego, or toothpicks, or even paper... seeing how high it could go was always interesting!
So we're going to have a spin on that tomorrow night! We've got plenty of cool things for you to use to see who can build the coolest, tallest tower. Plus we have plenty of other fun things we're going to be doing through the evening!
Things get started at 6:30, so we'll see you there!
Menno-Nite
You see that correctly! We're going back in time for menno-nite. Separation of the sexes, Mennonite Dancing, and Wink are on the docket. It's going to be a fun night poking fun at ourself and the mennonite culture.
Things get started at 6:30 PM. Don't be late!
Boys/Girls Night
There are times in our lives when we need to get away... and spend some time having fun! Now it's a little known fact, but SOMETIMES boys and girls enjoy doing different things. I"m not opposed to letting us do these things, and so tomorrow night we're splitting off!
Here's the plan as it stands right now...
Boys: We're heading to Castle Fun Park for some mini-golf/go-kart action and then some time in the batting cages. And... some time in the arcade as well! It's going to be good times. The cost is $5
Girls: Rumour has it you are watching some super secretive girly movie, and doing girly things in the youth room. There will be snacks, laughter, and plenty of girl-only stuff! No cost to you!
If you have any questions, give me a call, otherwise, see you tomorrow night at 6:30!
UPDATE: We're on for youth tonight!
